You can never go wrong with a LBD because:
- The color is flattering for all shapes and sizes (especially if you enjoyed every bite of that Christmas meal...I'm guilty too).
- It's the best color for NYE spills that are likely to happen at some point during the night...save yourself the misery.
- You can probably get away with finding something black in your closet and spend your money on spicing it up with one or a combination of the following: bold metallic statement earrings, chunky cuff, a bold bright or a sexy pair of embellished sandals.

NYE Style Tip: Make metallic work for your body shape by committing to a style that accentuates your best assets.
For example:
- Do you have a visible or prominent collarbone? Michelle Obama arms? Opt for an off the shoulder or sleeveless metallic design.
- Do you have great legs? Opt for a bold metallic sheath or swing dress.
- Do you have a small waist? Spice it up and opt for bold metallic high waisted pants or a fit and flare metallic dress.
