Work Hard, Play Hard

Are there ever enough hours in the day? Somedays I feel like that aren't, so I try to balance a bit of work and play as much as possible Monday-Friday. Before I ran to Times Square to fulfill my panelist duties for a recruiting event, I had to take in the rooftop pool and gorgeous view of Central Park before I jumped on the subway.

And how do I balance transitioning from professional to play? My black cape blazer is a staple and I added this pop of color (a jewerly find from a market in Sao Paulo, Brazil) to spice up this lovely nautical stripped top from Zara...that I can rock on its own at Usher's Album release party tonight ;-) 

Bonus tip - The Le Meridian is one of the best rooftop pools in the city.  

p.s. I searched all over the city for sandals because the Usher concert was standing room only...but my blocked heel Schutz sandals held up...and so did I TOWERING over 99.9% of the audience. #tallgirlwoes
