Staycation

There are SO many things we take for granted in our background, even as a transplant to a new city. When one of my good friends from Harvard, Natalie, told me that she was moving back to DC I was selfishly sad that I was losing my ambassador to Oakland and SF. But I decided to cut the pity party short and to make the most of it by being a local tourist with her during her final months. She captured this moment of me after we climbed Coit Tower - which I highly recommend for the views alone. 

This cardigan throw from H&M was also the perfect layering addition for any weekend adventure.
